NBA Bobcats Hire New Director of Player Development

Sept. 25 -- The Charlotte Bobcats of the National Basketball Association have hired former league player Chris Whitney as Director of Player Development.

In the noted role, Whitney will mentor young players in professional and social development. Most NBA teams possess the same, or a similar position.

Whitney played 11 NBA seasons, and has ties to Bobcats owner Michael Jordan from when Jordan was a player and an executive with the Washington Wizards.

Michael Jordan-Bulls DVDs carries Jordan complete game DVDs, such as his 69-point game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, his 55-point "double-nickel" game vs. the Knicks in Madison Square Garden, and his 59-point masterpiece against the Pistons, among many others.
