Former NBA All-Star Arrested for Public Drunkenness

Oct. 8 -- Three-time NBA all-star guard Steve Francis was arrested at Los Angeles International airport for being drunk, according to police sources. Reportedly, Francis was intoxicated and abusive towards staff.

The 33-year-old former player spent the night in jail before being released Friday on $10,000 bail. His court appearance is scheduled for November 5.

Francis was an all-star in 2002, 2003 and 2004. His career ended after being waived by the Memphis Grizzlies in 2009.
