Stockton Chooses Isiah, Sloan Picks Barkley as HOF Presenters

Sept. 8 -- Soon-to-be Basketball Hall of Fame member, long-time Utah Jazz coach Jerry Sloan asked NBA legend and current TNT announcer Charles Barkley to introduce him at Friday night's induction event.

Even more surprising, former Detroit Pistons great Isiah Thomas, currently the coach for Florida International, will present John Stockton for the Hall of Fame festivities.

Per tradition, those who are being inducted into the Hall of Fame are asked to select a current Hall of Fame inductee to present them for enshrinement.

It was previously announced that Michael Jordan picked North Carolina State star David Thompson over his North Carolina coach, Dean Smith.
