New Maine NDBL Hoops Team Sets Opener

Aug. 23 -- The Maine Red Claws NDBL team will open its inaugural season on the road in November, and its first home game is scheduled for Dec. 4.

The NBA development league team will play a 50-game schedule, with 24 games at home, 24 on the road and a two-game league showcase Jan. 4-7 in Boise, ID.

The Red Claws will open the season against the Sioux Falls Skyforce in South Dakota on Nov. 27. The team will then travel to Bismarck, N.D., the following evening to face the Dakota Wizards. Its home schedule opens on Friday, Dec. 4 with a game against the Springfield Armor at the Portland Expo.
