NBA Legends Defeat Philippines All-Stars

Sept. 11 -- The NBA Generations team defeated the Philippines Basketball Association (PBA) All-Stars by a score of 109-86 in their exhibition game at the Araneta Coliseum in Manila.

Dominique Wilkins led the NBA Generations with 28 points, wowing the crowd with fancy lay-ups and slam dunks.

Allan Caidic of the PBA, nicknamed "The Triggerman", brought the crowd to its feet by hitting five three pointers in the first quarter alone.

The halftime ended pretty evenly, 46-41 in favor of the NBA squad. In the second halt, though, Robert Horry starting hitting three pointers and NBA D-league players, led by Chris Ellis and Marcus Hubbard, took over.

NBA legend Kareem Abdul Jabbar was an assistant coach for the NBA Generations team.
