Ex-NBAer Dennis Rodman Supports Mansion Raffle
Nov. 20 -- Five-time NBA champion and basketball legend Dennis Rodman is lending his support to Fort Lauderdale couple Miles and Laura Brannan who are raffling off their $3 million waterfront property.
A portion of the raffle proceeds will benefit the Mission of St. Francis, a non-profit drug and alcohol treatment center. Having entered rehab this past summer at the Pasadena Recovery Center, Rodman is personally getting involved to help raise money for an organization that assists recovering addicts. The Web site is at: www.rodmanraffle.org.
The Mission of St. Francis, a 40-year-old Fort Lauderdale based alcohol and drug treatment center, provides free treatment and other social services for the poor. They are proud to have helped over 10,000 people fight their addictions. The Mission is the oldest treatment center in Florida, and all operations have been funded solely by private donations.
